Joelle Shenk is a children's theatre director, producer, and mentor. Aside from being on stage whenever possible, she provides professional characters for birthdays, travels as much as she can, and nannies throughout the year for various families.  She uses her energetic personality and teaching skills to show people, of all ages, how acting techniques can help in situations outside of theatre. 

 

"Many times, while on the mission field, a silly game, voice, or movement is what creates a connection. I like to live by, If you feel silly doing it, then you're probably do it right. Oh yeah...and Loudness brings boldness!" When overseas with ICR, you can usually find Joelle playing in a muddy field with dozens of children, or coloring with a shy individual. 

 

One of Joelle's greatest passions is to utilize Performing Arts in a ministry format. She thoroughly enjoys sharing with and training individuals, of all ages, in Ministry through the Arts! This passion has found her traveling across the United States and overseas to spread the love of Jesus through drama. Joelle has accompanied ICR on multiple trips over the past several years and looks forward to participating in more!
