5.    Are you one of the following; medical doctors (DO, MD), advance provider (NP, PA, CRNA, NMW) or a licensed therapist?

 

                       If you answered yes to any of these questions, then ICR has a trip for you!

A medical mission with ICR offers a unique opportunity of service for any medical professional and is an adventure in both medicine and faith. As a medical professional, you will not only have the opportunity of bringing medical care and hope to those most in need around the world, but also the opportunity to mentor medical students in medicine and their faith.

​

Roles:

  • Diagnose and treat a range of conditions within your licensure

  • Work alongside with other doctors, nurses and students on preselected teams

  • Supervise and educate students within your team including but not limited to, students, nurses, pharmacists and other non-medical volunteers 

  • Educate patients on what the condition is and what do to in order to treat and prevent the illness from future outbreaks.

  • Observe and fulfill all ICR policies outlined in the release form given before the trip.

For RN, LPN, BSN, CNA or a specialty in sub health care only:

Ask yourself these questions:

  1. Do you have a desire to use the talents and training God has given you?

  2. Do you want to inspire fellow and future doctors, nurses and others not just though medicine? 

  3. Are you looking for an adventure?

  4. Would you like to serve those most in need in other communities?

  5. Are you one of the following; RN, LPN, BSN, CNA or a specialty in sub health care?

 

                        If you answered yes to any of these questions, then ICR has a trip for you!

  • Wellness check and assessing any issues patients have.

  • Administer triage and obtain health and family background

  • Supervise, educate and respect students within your team

  • Observe and fulfill all ICR policies outlined in the release form given before the trip.

For Pharmacist or Pharmacist assistants:

Ask yourself these questions:

  1. Do you have a desire to use the talents and training God has given you?

  2. Do you want to inspire fellow and future doctors, nurses and others not just though medicine? 

  3. Are you looking for an adventure of a life time?

  4. Would you like to serve those most in need in other communities?

  • Filling and dispensing medications as prescribed

  • Giving direction on how the patient is to take each medication

  • Supervise, educate and respect students within your team

  • Observe and fulfill all ICR policies outlined in the release form given before the trip.
